Non-User Friendly Site

This is the website for Yale's School of Art. You would think for a university they would have a clean and user friendly site to help students, staff or anyone interested in Yale's art school easily navigate and find the information they need. However this site is not only an eyesore with it's awful highlights and animations. It just seems all over the place. The website is fairly easy to navigate, but the entire page leaves me wondering what they are actually trying to do as far as web design goes. The information is chunked around pretty decently and they have links attached to each sub head. However, the brightly colored boxes with the unnecessary gradients are enough to give you a headache. Also the poorly edited Kangaroo picture in the background makes absolutely no sense and has no relation to the art page at all. I think they should do away with the silly colors and have clear and clean heading boxes with precise wording to get the information out without writing massive paragraphs. They also should undo the font highlighting for all the headers and choose a font that is more unique but is still legible. They also need to move the socials, contact us and more information tabs to the top of the webpage instead of having them at the very bottom in tiny font that is hard to read. I overall think this webpage isn't the best and could use some readjustment
